Ministry of Broadcast: How this game changed my thinking about adventure games in dialogs, and how it impressed me with the whole storyline

I always had a little prejudice with games with viewing and lateral progress (only movements to the left or right, classic 2D) even more those that tell more about the story and what happens during the game than the action itself, example are dialogs 70% of the game and the remaining 30% with some small actions like running from something, perform a puzzle or something without distracting me for too long, but today I want to talk about a game that ended up changing my thinking about these games and opened my mind to what can be produced and what I am missing when I dodge games of the genre, I'm talking about: Ministry of Broadcast

A story that involved me from the beginning

I confess that at first when I realized I had the possibility of skipping some less important dialogues at first was what I ended up doing, but after the game starts in fact I did not understand my goal there and had to restart that chapter, we start being presented to a program that is broadcast to the whole country whose has a dictator who has not yet been revealed to the character although we can only see some references to him on posters and television ads, but stopping to think we already have the necessary hints: a sad and cold city, walls separating people and a totally rigid police, have you thought of anyone?
First we need to go through a small test in obstacles by jumping small platforms and pulling levers, it seems those television programs with challenges in prizes, yet we also find some people also with the same goal of winning the program and achieve their dream of the grand prize.
It turns out that the desire of our nameless protagonist is that he can win this program in order to realize his desire to be able to join his family that is behind the great wall built by the dictator, after the first stages we can follow some dialogues between other participants and that for some strange reason our roommate just disappeared and stole our boots, interaction with the snow without the boots was impressive to the point that in some parts of a large ice rink if you stay long on it you end up dying of cold or the same breaking with his weight and freezing, I would like to applaud this thought to the developers because I've played more modern games that the shooter is not even with something that simulates that it contains feet, this is very funny.

Why didn't death become frustrating for me?
If you wish to play this wonderful game prepare to die, die and die some more, there are a few moments that you simply are in a dialogue and after a few moments find yourself killed by some soldier for not making the right decision fast enough, not wanting to share a mission spoiler here but taking advantage of the subject that came into the table, a part that we find ourselves talking to some "supervisors" who begin to praise the beautiful form of another player on the program, and out of nowhere they get angry with the protagonist and call a guard, he quickly comes out of a door and without any warning to run or anything like that we realize that he pulls a rifle and kill us, then from then on we realize that the program is much more than a simple reality show broadcast to the country but an extermination in the form of entertainment.
Then the game gets harder and harder, I have spent several hours in a chapter trying to solve the challenges imposed on me, another congratulations to the developers who sought the realism of survival for the game if for some reason we fall from a considerable height our player will break his legs and can not participate in the challenge, frustrating the fun of the viewers.

How much is the fun vs. challenge factor proposed?
Well I would say that they managed to keep an acceptable balance, although in some moments you may get lost or have no idea what to do due to the fact that you just skipped some important dialogues and may have missed some useful hint, we can then say that if you like challenging games but not to the point of stressing yourself and breaking everything in your house, please try this game.
The graphics quality as I have mentioned in many other posts here in the community 2D retro graphics or well done pixel art makes me fascinated even more when the animations are well fluid, the entire scenario is well drawn and detailed to a high level of overall design, sound quality though most of the time you will get things from the environment as the wind noise, metal pieces falling or if you do something wrong as a jump and fall from a height the bones of your character breaking, otherwise the music and quiet menus.
