War between kingdoms in the feudal period, the classic MMORPG Metin2 from my point of view
It has been a long time since I had a gameplay contact with Metin 2 and since I got the courage to come out of my laziness and write about tibia in Thinking back on this classic MMORPG, Tibia went much further than just an online game I decided to refresh my memory and share my knowledge and feedback about this MMORPG created by Ymir Entertainment first released in Korea in 2004, from 2005 until 2009 versions were created to be released in other countries.

Metin 2 is a MMORPG that even for its release until this year (2023) can deliver graphics and effects acceptable for the time, we have here the classic story of feudal war on the continent that eventually divide civilizations into three types of families or rulers being they Chunjo, Shinsu and Jinno that after a strange event with divine stones falling from the sky and the appearance of the dragon god became individual and any encounter between these kingdoms become in battles, leaving a bit of the context of history we have in hand a great MMORPG in the molds of the great ones of the time as Mu Online, Cabal, Priston Tale and a little draft of Sengoku Basara, one thing I find interesting is that even if it is a global game and you are on the opposite side of the kingdom you will not understand the language of the other kingdom, an example is that I always chose to be the yellow kingdom Chunjo and if I met a player from the red kingdom Shinsu their lines would become special characters or often just (***), it was necessary to learn their language by acquiring the language book of the country and try to increase your skill, this was because it happened constantly since outside the cities the other maps were shared equally and there was a certain place in the Valley of the Orcs where was a passage to all kingdoms and many times you had to prepare for battle if you were alone.

The male or female character creation had no appearance customization other than the color of your clothes in two choices, but you could select between the classes Warrior, Shaman, Shura and Ninja and distribute the attributes according to your play style and build selected, but even with these four classes maybe I could say there are eight in total due to each class having to choose the type of skill that will become your character. The ninja could be a stealth attacker with single target skills and poisoning techniques great for a PVP (player vs player) or leave aside stealth and become a long distance shooter with bow and arrow with precision techniques and area control, this second in question was a difficult and laborious choice by the difficulty of leveling through the bow, in the early levels it was normal to find the same using swords to kill monsters and the bow just to draw their attention gathering all at once thus making the hunt favorable to acquire XP.

Warriors were the most chosen at the time I played, due to its high strength with the advantage of causing a good damage in area for those who chose the path Arahan not so much for Partizan due to be assigned with more defensive skills, if you played Metin 2 and did not have a warrior arahan to make your money and purchase items was said that you were playing on hard mode, my first character was a warrior by a friend's indication and I can confirm that his gameplay of the others after a while you realize that it has no easier than the own, is not atoa that the leaders of the leveling charts disputed of five among the first three were this class, I thought the design of the giant swords were the most amazing to have in character in the game.
My second character was a Lightning Shaman, in the shaman class we can choose between dragon powers or lightning powers and nature, the shaman by itself is already an intermediate class between attack and support, the dragon powers are better for support by contributing with reflective shields and increasing resistance to certain attacks, its only interesting attack is the Dragon Flight that hits all enemies around it invoking a dragon from the ground to the sky, The other attacks are too mediocre to count as support for the applicable damage, already the lightning powers consists of you causing electrical damage to enemies, when I say electrical is about the lightning attacks bounce off each other causing a high damage, besides being able to apply stun effects on targets, it does not have many protection skills like the previous one but has the ability to heal itself or an ally nearby and is the only one that can do this.
My third and last character was a Shuragem, shuras are a mix of warrior and dark wizard, their abilities consist of him being able to upgrade himself with spells that increase his attack and defense as well as abilities that can cause negative effects on his targets.

I remember staying for a few hours playing Metin 2 after coming home from school with my friends, the game becomes better with a group of two warriors, a shaman just to heal and a causer of damage in any area, the only one that is disregarded in groups in fact is always the ninja who can not fit due to their single target skills, but nothing prevents you and your friends have ninjas after all the game is free choice no rules about it, It was fun trying to get out of the Monkey Cave for you to get your first horse, as the name already suggests you will find numerous monkeys allocated that simply are not strong, tough or let fall of his loot something good, they only exist to annoy you and get in your way by attacking you at a distance, and have to be careful even if only one does not show danger do not let join more than 5 monkeys or you will see death very closely.
The best part of the game is undoubtedly the PVP, especially the war of kingdoms, was a monthly event that was created a castle with many Metin stones with great rewards, the problem was that few were created what ended up creating a dispute of kingdoms, usually if you were weak and tried to participate ended up dying in seconds, sometimes not even aimed at you.
